What are Collaborators?
Collaborators are users on your account that have access restricted to certain Jobs and can only perform certain actions.
What can Collaborators do?
Collaborators can access only Jobs that Owners and Admins assign them to. Once assigned to a job (or multiple jobs), Collaborators can access Invites and Wedges for the Job, but they cannot access Questions or Settings. Simply, Collaborators get an uncomplicated view of your candidates for any Job they are assigned to.
How to add Collaborators
Adding Collaborators is as easy as adding Members or Admins onto your account, just go to the Settings page, select the Members tab on the left, add a Member, and then select Collaborator in the dropdown while creating it.
For more in-depth instructions on how to Add Team Members, check on our article on the subject by clicking on the button below.
How to assign Collaborators to a Job
Assigning Collaborators to a Job is done on the Job level, so you can find it in Job Settings drawer.
When you open Job Settings for the Job you want to add a Collaborator to, you should see the Collaborators section with a drop-down contained within it. When you click the drop-down, you will see a list of all the Collaborators you have on your account (note: only Collaborators will show up in this list, so if you don't have any Collaborators this list will be empty).
You can click the drop-down and select a Collaborator to add them. Once added, they will be able to view Wedges for that Job, they will also start getting notifications for that Job as well.
When a Collaborator logs in, they will only see the Job(s) they've been assigned.
When they select that Job to see the details, they won't have the ability to manage Questions or Settings, but they'll have access to Inviting Candidates and viewing their Wedges.
As always, if you have any questions or need any help in regards to Collaborators, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or use the widget on our site to chat with us!
