The Questions Page

The Questions page is where you can manage your interview questions. There are 5 main question categories: Coach-ability, Motivation, Problem-Solving, Emotional Intelligence, and Custom. Each category (other than Custom) has 20-30 questions. For each of these questions, we recorded an actor asking the question and that is what is presented to the candidate when they record their interview.

For more information about Custom Questions, be sure to check out our Custom Questions article!

Organizing Questions

Once a question is selected, it gets moved over to the right-hand side of the screen and put on an individual question tile. Questions on the right side of the screen are live and will be asked to any candidates that you have invited or will invite to interview.

The order that the question tiles appear is the order they will be asked to the job candidate. If you'd like to change the order of the questions, hover over the question tile, click on it, and drag it to where you'd like it in your question order. If you'd like to remove a question from the lineup, hover over the question tile and click on the X that appears on the right side.

How Changing Questions Affects Candidates

Changing your questions, or their order does not affect Candidates that have already recorded their Wedge or their Wedge Interview itself. Any candidates that have been invited and have not yet recorded their Wedge, will answer the most up-to-date set of questions. You do not need to re-invite candidates when you change questions for a particular Job, the system automatically updates so that they answer the latest questions.

Adjusting Response Duration

If you'd like to change the amount of time candidates have to respond to a question, click Change on the question tile and adjust the duration accordingly. Remember, the duration is listed in seconds!

Saving Your Questions

Whenever you make an action on this page, it is saved. You never have to worry about losing what you've done or forgetting to click save.
