Using Wedge with Paradox

Wedge works with Paradox, allowing you to streamline your candidate journey using one-way video interviewing. This guide is primarily for Neighborly Franchises that use Wedge with Paradox.

Follow these steps to efficiently manage your candidate workflow:

Office Journey

Step 1: Set Up Manual Scheduling

In order to ensure that candidates can be invited to record a Wedge Interview before they are asked to schedule an in-person interview, follow the steps below.

  • Navigate to the Jobs tab and select your specific job.
  • Under Candidate Journey, click on Scheduling.
  • Change the scheduling type to Manually Schedule, then click Save and Publish.

Step 2: Candidate Review and Invitation

  • Review pre-screen question responses:
    • If the candidate passes Traitify (if applicable) or pre-screening, you can now send a Wedge invitation.
    • If responses are not favorable and you don't want them to record an interview, disposition the candidate.

Step 3: Sending a Wedge Invite

  • Click Send Invite.

    Select Molly Maid Interview (or your designated interview template).

    Click Send Invite again.

    In the conversation area:

    • Choose Send Later to schedule the invite.
    • Click the teal arrow (Send Now) for immediate sending.

Step 4: Reminders

  • To manually send a reminder:
    • Click Send Reminder (top-right).
    • In the conversation area, select Send Later or the teal arrow to Send Now.

💡 Wedge automatically sends reminders every 24 hours for up to 7 days if the candidate has not yet completed their interview.

Step 5: Reviewing Completed Interviews

  • Once a candidate completes the Wedge interview, you'll receive an email notification.
  • View the completed interview within the candidate's file in Paradox.

Step 6: Post-Interview Actions

  • After reviewing the interview, take appropriate action:
    • Invite the candidate for an in-person interview.
    • Or disposition the candidate.
  • If hiring the candidate, complete the remaining hiring steps directly in Paradox.

Important: Complete post-interview steps promptly for accurate data tracking.

Candidate Journey

Pre-screening

  • Candidates answer pre-screening questions.
    • Favorable responses proceed to Traitify assessment (if applicable).
    • Unfavorable responses trigger automatic disposition.

Wedge Interview

  • Favorable Traitify or pre-screen results put candidates in an action-needed stage, waiting to be manually sent a Wedge interview invitation.
  • Candidates receive an invite link, opening a new screen guiding them through the video interview.

  • Candidates opting to delay their interview receive automated reminders from Wedge after 24 hours. You can also manually send reminders.

Notifications and Next Steps

  • Candidates receive timely communications via email and/or text:
    • Interview Invite notifications.
    • Interview Reminders if they don't complete the interview right away.
  • Based on their interview, candidates can be dispositioned or invited to an in-person interview.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage candidate interactions using Wedge and Paradox, ensuring a smooth and engaging hiring process.
