Interview Properties

Interview Properties let you organize your interviews by Team and Location. If you hire across departments, regions, or office locations, properties help you keep things sorted and easy to find.

Once assigned, Team and Location show up under each interview on your Interviews page. You can filter by either one to find what you need fast.

Create a Team or Location

You can create properties in two places: from an interview's settings, or from the Interview Properties page in Settings.

From Interview Settings

  1. Open the interview you want to tag.
  2. Click Interview Settings.
  3. Below the Interview Name field, find Team and Location.
  4. Click the Select dropdown and type a name.
  5. If it does not exist yet, click Create to add it.
  6. Click Save in the bottom right corner.

  2. Click Team or Location.
  3. Click Add Team (or Add Location) in the top right corner.
  4. Type the name and save.

This is a good option when you want to set up several properties at once before assigning them to interviews.

  1. Go to Settings > Interview Properties.
  2. Click Team or Location.

Control interview access with properties (Pro and Enterprise)

If your account includes Advanced Access Controls, you can assign team members to specific Teams, Locations, or both. When you do, that person will only see interviews that match their assigned properties.

This is useful when different people on your team should only see interviews for their own department or region.

Assign a team member to properties

  1. Go to Settings > Team.
  2. Click on the team member you want to update.
  3. Under Access Groups, select a Team and/or Location from the dropdowns.
  4. Click Update.

How access works

Once a team member has properties assigned, the Interview Access section on their profile shows which interviews they can see. Wedge calculates this based on their assigned Teams and Locations.

If a team member has no properties assigned, they will not see any interviews in their account, nor will you see any in the Interview Access section. Owners and Admins can see all interviews regardless of property assignments.
